We're excited to update you on our progress and hope you're doing well!
Our factory partner re-opened after Chinese New Year Holiday on February 22nd and we've been working together to finalize our production schedule. Over the past few weeks we have been coordinating with our vendors to receive the items and components we need to start production, including all accessories (plastic spatula tool, oil applicator, timer, and measuring cup) and packaging materials. We're on track to receive everything we need to start production by the end of March.
To make sure the first mass production run maintains the quality standards we require, we will be visiting the factory to oversee production. During our trip we'll be evaluating every step, from painting and assembly to quality control testing. We're preparing to visit our factory in the last week of March/first week of April, and we're still on track to deliver the DosaMaker to you in June. Based on the recent prototypes we've received we're confident that production will go smoothly, and we can't wait to deliver your DosaMaker!
We also wanted to share some pictures of a recent "Dosa Party" we were a part of in San Diego. Our team brought 4 DosaMakers and showed the group how to make 3 varieties of dosas, and we were overwhelmed by the positive response. It was such a great experience to see so many people have fun using the DosaMaker and enjoy the dosas they made!
