We hope you're doing well! Our team traveled to China last week to visit our factory partner, and we wanted to give you a recap of our trip and update you on our progress.

We know you're very excited to receive your DosaMaker, so we want to start by saying that we're still on track to deliver your DosaMaker in June! We spent one week at the factory to evaluate the new parts they received and to work with their assembly team in preparation for mass production. Since the DosaMaker utilizes unique part designs and electronics, we wanted to make sure the factory's assembly team understood the build process and our requirements thoroughly before starting mass production (which is a very different process compared to building one-off prototypes). Here are some pictures from our visit:

After evaluating the new parts, part of our work with the factory's assembly team included developing an assembly line standards document. This document will help the factory as they continue to refine their assembly practices and train new members as they scale up for production.

The factory is currently preparing their full assembly team for mass production, and we will be making another trip to China in a few weeks to complete our Quality Control testing of mass produced units. As mentioned earlier, we're currently still on track to deliver your DosaMaker in June.

In the meantime, here in the U.S. we're continuing to develop new and delicious recipes for the DosaMaker, and word of the DosaMaker and our great tasting and healthy dosas continues to spread (pun intended!). We're thrilled and honored that Soul of India Cooking Co. and the DosaMaker were recently featured in India Abroad, a weekly national newspaper that's been in circulation since 1970. If you haven't seen the feature, which also highlights two of our popular recipes, please click here.

We will continue to keep you updated on our progress, and if you have any questions please email us at hello@SoulofIndiaCooking.com. For pictures and updates on what's happening at Soul of India Cooking Co., follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Thank you again for your support!
